These were purchased end of the summer at the Santa Monica Flea Market for a client of mine. I thought the brass base and the top fittings I thought were done well and had aged well to match roller. At the same time it feels modern and not too craftsy.
I have a lamp just like the first one. I am selling it and would like to know what you would ask for it?
thanks!
Hi Sally,
I always say, Whatever someone will pay for it! That is because this is a judgment of aesthetic appeal vs. an inherent dollar value. It will depend on what condition it is in, and if it is newly rewired, or if it has a new shade. They are not rare, if you look at the high end market place like http://www.1stdibs.com for wallpaper roller lamps they are listed between 500-3000 but that is the high end market.
Depending on how you are selling it, start high and if doesn’t sell come down if you want to sell it. Thanks for the question. Daniel
